Common questions

Does Rounds take a commission from doctors or hospitals?

No. Rounds takes zero commission. Whatever a hospital agrees to pay, the doctor receives in full, paid directly between them. The platform never holds the money and there is no wallet.

Who pays to use Rounds?

Nobody. Rounds is free for doctors and free for hospitals, with no commission on any placement.

How are doctors verified on Rounds?

Every doctor's medical registration number is checked against the State Medical Council and NMC records. A doctor can only accept shifts once that check clears, and anything that does not clear automatically goes to a human reviewer.

Does Rounds store doctors' certificates or ID documents?

Only what a doctor uploads to be verified: their registration certificate, licence or ID. It is stored securely in India, used to verify them, and shown to hospitals only if the doctor chooses. Rounds also keeps the registration number and the result of checking it. Nothing else.

Is Rounds available outside India?

No. Rounds serves hospitals and doctors in India only, and all data is stored in India.

What kinds of work can doctors find on Rounds?

Locum and short-term shifts, and full-time roles. Hospitals and doctor-owned clinics can post both.
