Rounds is where hospitals and clinics post paid locum duties, and verified doctors nearby accept them in one tap. Night shifts, weekend cover, a week in a nursing home or a full-time hospital role: it is all in one place, with no agency in between and no commission taken.
A locum is a doctor who covers for a hospital or clinic for a short time: a night in casualty, a weekend in the ICU, a few OPD sessions, or a few weeks while a regular doctor is away. The hospital sets the dates, the hours and the rate. You choose the ones that suit you.
Every doctor is verified. Your registration number is checked against the State Medical Council and NMC records before you can accept any shift, so hospitals know who is walking in.
The hospital pays you directly. Rounds takes no commission and never holds your money. The rate agreed when you accept is the rate you are paid.
Short of a doctor tonight? Post the shift with the date, hours and rate. Verified doctors nearby are told at once, and you pay the doctor directly. Posting is free for hospitals and for doctors who run their own clinic. Full-time roles can be posted the same way.
