Rounds Journal: Terms of Use and Editorial Policy

Rounds Healthcare Technologies · applies to https://myrounds.in/journal and every article under it

Last updated: 2026-09-27

The short version. The Rounds Journal publishes general, practical information about the work of medicine in India: locum shifts, registration processes, careers, hospital staffing and working well. It is not medical, legal, tax or financial advice. Articles are written with the help of AI and checked automatically against strict editorial rules before they are published, and our team removes anything that should not be there. Confirm anything that matters with the official source or a qualified professional.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

The Rounds Journal (“the Journal”) is published by Rounds Healthcare Technologies (“we”, “us”, “our”), operator of myrounds.in. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the pages at https://myrounds.in/journal, its RSS feed, and every article published there.

They are separate from, and in addition to, the Rounds Terms of Service, which govern the Rounds platform and apps. Where these terms and the Terms of Service differ about the Journal, these terms apply. Reading the Journal does not require an account and does not make you a user of the platform.

By reading, linking to, quoting or otherwise using the Journal, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Journal.

2. What the Journal is, and what it is not

The Journal is written for registered doctors and for people who run hospitals and clinics in India. It is general information, published for educational purposes only.

  • It is not medical advice. The Journal does not discuss the diagnosis or treatment of any condition, does not name or recommend any medicine, therapy or procedure, and is not intended for patients or members of the public seeking care. Nothing in it creates a doctor-patient relationship. In a medical emergency, contact emergency services or go to the nearest hospital.
  • It is not legal, regulatory, tax or financial advice. Where an article touches on registration, law, contracts, tax or money, it explains the general idea only. Requirements differ from state to state and change over time. Confirm the current position with your State Medical Council, the National Medical Commission, the relevant authority, or a qualified professional before acting.
  • It is not an offer or a promise. Nothing in an article is an offer of work, a promise of income or outcome, or a statement about any particular hospital, doctor or organisation.

3. How articles are written and checked (editorial policy)

We believe you should know how what you are reading was made. Every article in the Journal is produced this way:

  1. Topic. Topics are chosen from a list of practical, non-clinical questions that doctors and hospitals in India ask, maintained by our team.
  2. Drafting with AI. The article is drafted by an artificial-intelligence language model provided by a third-party service, working to our written editorial rules. No personal data about any reader or user is given to that service.
  3. Automatic rule check. The draft is checked by fixed rules that reject it outright if it, among other things: names or recommends any medicine, treatment or dosage; claims a cure or a guarantee; states pay, fees, prices, percentages or statistics; cites a study, survey, or a section or rule number of any law; names any person, doctor, patient, hospital, company, brand or political figure; claims approval or endorsement by any government body or council; touches on prenatal sex determination, organ sale, religion, caste or politics; or contains a link, email address or phone number.
  4. Independent automated review. A second AI review reads the article against the same rules, and also for anything likely to be inaccurate, harmful, defamatory, misleading, promotional, discriminatory or offensive. It must positively approve the article. If that review cannot be completed, the article is not published.
  5. Publication and oversight. Approved articles are published on a schedule, one a day. Articles are not individually read by a person before publication; our team oversees the Journal after publication and can remove any article immediately. Every article carries a notice saying it was written with AI assistance.

The Journal carries no sponsored content, no paid placements and no advertising for any medicine, product or service. The only promotional material is a clearly separate panel describing the Rounds platform, written by our team, not by AI.

4. Accuracy, currency and no warranty

We work to keep the Journal accurate, and the rules above exist to keep out the kinds of statement most likely to be wrong. But automated checks cannot guarantee that every statement is complete, correct or current, and laws, regulations and professional guidance change after an article is published. Each article shows the date it was published.

The Journal is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no representation or warranty, express or implied, about the accuracy, completeness, reliability, suitability or availability of any article, and we disclaim all implied warranties.

5. No endorsement and no official affiliation

References to the National Medical Commission, State Medical Councils or any other public body are made only to help readers identify the right official source. Rounds Healthcare Technologies is not affiliated with, authorised by or endorsed by any government, ministry, regulator or council, and nothing in the Journal should be read as suggesting otherwise. We do not use any official emblem or name in a way that suggests official patronage.

The Journal does not endorse, recommend or criticise any identifiable person, hospital, clinic, company, product or service.

6. Corrections, complaints and removal

If you believe an article is inaccurate, harmful, infringes your rights, refers to you, or should not be published for any reason, write to our Grievance Officer at grievance@myrounds.in with the page address and what is wrong. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and act on them as quickly as we can: where content is plainly unlawful or harmful, we remove it first and review afterwards. We aim to resolve every complaint within 15 days, in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it.

We may correct, update, withdraw or remove any article at any time, for any reason, without notice. A removed article’s address is not reused for different content.

7. Intellectual property and how you may share articles

The Journal, its articles, their selection and arrangement, and the Rounds name and mark are owned by or licensed to Rounds Healthcare Technologies and are protected by the Copyright Act, 1957, the Trade Marks Act, 1999 and other applicable laws.

You are welcome to:

  • read the Journal and share links to any article;
  • quote a short passage for commentary, teaching or reporting, with a credit to the Rounds Journal and a link to the article.

You may not, without our written permission:

  • republish, reproduce or sell whole articles or substantial parts of them;
  • present any article, or anything derived from it, as medical, legal or professional advice, or as the view of any government body, council or named professional;
  • alter an article and present the altered version as ours;
  • use the Rounds name or mark in a way that suggests we endorse you or your product.

Search engines and answer engines may index and quote the Journal as permitted by our robots.txt file.

8. Third-party rights

Articles are written to be original. If you believe any article reproduces material you own without permission, write to the Grievance Officer with the page address, a description of your work and proof of ownership. We will remove the material while we look into it.

9. No comments or reader submissions

The Journal does not accept comments, guest posts or reader submissions, and does not publish anything a reader sends us. Emails to us are handled as described in the Journal privacy notice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Rounds Healthcare Technologies, its proprietors, partners, directors, officers, employees, agents, affiliates, group and associated entities, and their respective successors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary loss or damage of any kind, including loss of income, opportunity, data or reputation, arising out of or in connection with the Journal, any article, any reliance placed on it, or any interruption, error or omission in it, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, and even if advised of the possibility of such loss.

The Journal is provided free of charge. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Indian law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

11. Indemnity

If you use the Journal in breach of these terms (for example by republishing an article, altering it, or presenting it as professional advice), you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rounds Healthcare Technologies, its proprietors, partners, directors, officers, employees, agents, affiliates, group and associated entities, and their respective successors against any claim, loss, liability, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from that breach.

12. Acceptable use

You must not use the Journal in any way that is unlawful, that misleads anyone, that interferes with the site’s operation or security, or that attempts to access any part of myrounds.in that is not public. Automated access is permitted only as allowed by our robots.txt file.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and the editorial policy as the Journal or the law changes. The “last updated” date above shows the current version. Continuing to use the Journal after a change means you accept the updated terms.

14. Severability and waiver

If any part of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our not enforcing any part of these terms is not a waiver of our right to do so later.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The competent courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, save that we may seek urgent injunctive relief in any competent court.
