The short version. You can read the Rounds Journal without an account, and we do not ask you for any personal data to do so. There are no comment boxes, sign-up forms, newsletters, advertising or tracking cookies, or analytics scripts on the Journal. We do not sell, share or profile anything about readers.
Rounds Healthcare Technologies (“we”) publishes the Rounds Journal at https://myrounds.in/journal. This notice explains how personal data is handled when you read the Journal or contact us about it. For the Rounds platform and apps, the Rounds Privacy Policy applies instead. Where we process personal data described here, we are the Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”).
Nothing you type or submit. The Journal has no forms of any kind.
Technical request data. Like every website, our servers necessarily receive technical information with each request: your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, your browser type, and the referring page. This is used only to deliver the page, keep the site secure, prevent abuse, and diagnose faults. It is kept only as long as needed for those purposes and then deleted, and it is never used to identify, profile or market to you.
Error reports. If a page fails to load properly, a technical error report (the error and the page address, not your identity) may be recorded so we can fix it.
The Journal sets no advertising, analytics or cross-site tracking cookies. If you are also signed in to Rounds, the strictly necessary session cookie described in the Rounds Privacy Policy is sent by your browser as it is on any page of myrounds.in, but the Journal does not read or record who you are from it.
If you write to us about the Journal (for example to report an error or make a complaint), we use your email address and what you send only to reply, to act on your request, and to keep a record of the complaint as the law requires. We keep that correspondence for as long as needed to resolve the matter and meet our legal obligations, and then delete it. We never publish what you send us.
Articles are drafted with the help of an artificial-intelligence service run by a third party. That service is given a topic and our editorial rules, and no personal data about any reader or user of Rounds. Reader data is not used to write articles and is not used to train any AI model. Articles never contain real patient stories or information about identifiable people.
The Journal is served from servers in Mumbai, India, with backups held in India. Service providers who help us run the site (hosting, domain name service, email) may process technical request data on our behalf, only under our instructions and only for that purpose. We may disclose information where the law, a court order or a lawful request by a government authority requires it.
When you arrive from, or share an article to, a search engine, social network or feed reader, that service handles your data under its own privacy policy, not ours.
The Journal is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to server records is restricted to authorised staff.
Where we hold personal data about you, you have the right to:
Write to grievance@myrounds.in to exercise any of these rights. We acknowledge requests within 24 hours and respond as quickly as we can, and in any case within the time the law allows.
The Journal is written for medical professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
If the way the Journal handles personal data changes (for example if we ever add a form or a newsletter), we will update this notice before the change takes effect and the “last updated” date above will show it.
